Long Awaited Receipt Pictures Have Come to Mobile (Torch Project Management)

About a year ago, I announced a feature that allows the mobile user on Torch Project Management to take a picture of a receipt and attach it the expense. Which was great for Android users on Ice Cream Sandwich, but that was a very small number of people. With the release of iOS 6, the number of people has greatly increased.

Here's how it works (on ICS):

Under the expense area, add an expense and press "Add Receipt":

The receipt is now attached:

Updating an Offline Mobile Event/Task (Torch Project Management)

When using the Offline Mobile Interface for Torch Project Management, you can edit the date and title of an event/task by just pressing on the gray date area. Take a look:

Then make the changes you want (to the date, title or both) and press save:

The task will be updated as soon as you are back online.

The offline mobile interface for Heap CRM now works on devices that run BlackBerry OS 6+ (currently the Torch 9800). This is the very same software that you can run offline on your iPhone/iPod Touch, Android device, Palm Pre/Pixi, Firefox Mobile or iPad.

To use the software offline, just go the mobile address (YourSubDomain.crmondemand.biz/m/):

We've heard you loud and clear, you want to be able to add projects outside of the main web application: Now you can.

Regardless of the interface, when you create a new project it automatically triggers the default categories, events and budgets you have setup under "Settings"->"Default Categories".

The offline mobile interface for Torch Project Management now works on devices that run Firefox Mobile (most notably the Nokia N900). This is the very same software that you can run offline on your iPhone/iPod Touch, Android device, Palm Pre/Pixi or iPad.

To use the software offline, just go the mobile address (YourSubDomain.mytorch.net/m/). You will be presented with a warning:

Depending on the dimensions of your device, you will either get the tablet or the phone version of the software.
