Torch Budget Enhancements – User Specific Budgets and View/Edit Tasks

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

Torch Project Management's budgets have been enhanced with two new features: User specific budgets and the ability to view tasks. Now when you start digging into what a specific user is doing, you can set a budget for them on a particular project or category (it defaults to the budget for the project/category before you set it). This is separate from the budgets on the category/project itself, however, you set it the same way, just click the edit button next to the line.

You can also now view the tasks by just clicking on the red task count:

Once the pop-up is open you can complete the event, pin the event, e-mail the pinned users or open the event. This pop-up is available as you dig into a project, category, user, etc. So you can be very specific about what you are looking at.
